Having completed a very successful revamp of the restaurant facility last year, the new management team has turned their attention to a large gift & craft store. This is being developed in conjunction with brand builders Bradley McGurk. The first and most pressing issue to be dealt with was the entrance and cash & wrap area.

The challenge was to deal with the large volumes of customers that arrive simultaneously on coaches. This leads to a big traffic jam in this critical area and causes major disruption to customers at that critical “point of sale” moment.

The solution reflects the image that Kylemore wants to project while organizing purchasing and arriving customers. The customized “Q” management system is also very effective for those vital impulse sales – all in all, a great start to the refit of the store.
