McGuirks Golf has unveiled a new 4,000 sq. ft. retail space within Arnotts Department Store, featuring our Inset4 and Inset4 plus illuminated system, complemented by bespoke joinery, integrated LED lighting features, and premium lightbox units to create a striking and engaging shopping environment.
Blarney Woollen Mills
has recently upgraded their Waterford Crystal department, designed to showcase the craftsmanship and heritage of one of Ireland’s most iconic brands.The new fit-out features bespoke display wall units finished in matt copper, complemented by textured stone-effect shelving with integrated LED lighting to beautifully illuminate the crystal collections. Rich tobacconist green walls provide a sophisticated backdrop, while central floor display units in a matt blue steel finish add depth and contrast to the space.
The material palette was carefully chosen to reflect the landscape and character of Waterford’s Copper Coast, while also capturing the warmth, authenticity and timeless appeal of the Blarney experience.
Dingle Crystal, the family-run Irish crystal company founded by master craftsman Seán Daly, has opened its new retail outlet, The Crystal Room Adare.
The store showcases our versatile BOX Display System, complemented by bespoke joinery and integrated LED lighting, all manufactured at our Dublin facility. Together, these elements create an elegant retail environment that beautifully highlights Dingle Crystal’s exceptional craftsmanship.
We are delighted to have been part of this project and would like to wish the entire Dingle Crystal team every success with their new store in Adare. We have no doubt it will become a wonderful destination for visitors and crystal enthusiasts alike.
Louis Copeland and Sons, a proud fourth-generation family business built on a tradition of exceptional customer service, has opened a wedding and made-to-measure room on Wicklow Street. This elegant space offers clients the complete Louis Copeland experience.
Designed by MILLIMETRE DESIGN, the room exudes luxury with bespoke curtains, plush seating, and deep-pile carpeting. Bronze-framed mirrors, a marble coffee area, a refined presentation table, and bifold privacy screen doors were all manufactured at our Dublin joinery premises. The room also features our INSET4plus illuminated display system, adding a contemporary look to the main display wall.

Benetti Menswear has invested in a cutting-edge new showroom to showcase its full range of casual and formal wear. It was a pleasure to collaborate with the Benetti team on the implementation of the showroom, which included design and presentation visuals, material sampling, prototyping, and the manufacture and installation of display furniture, complete with LED lighting and signage components.
Building on our Toyota showroom fit-outs, Toyota Ireland approved of our design, detailing, and production of stands to promote their EV Home Charger unit. The units were manufactured using Toyota finishes and were delivered to all Toyota dealers in Ireland.

Toyota Liffey Valley has recently unveiled a new showroom layout combining all the Toyota brand products to create a memorable customer experience. The showroom is organised around a Customer Hub, an exciting space where customers can interact digitally and face-to-face with Toyota product experts. The concept originated in Europe with Dalziel & Pow and is being further developed for Ireland by Dave Egan of NODE Architecture. Store Design manufactured the furniture and display components for the project.

Outdoor store specialist 53 Degrees North recently opened in Arnotts. The retail area comprises feature walls covered in bark and a signage area with moss surrounds. The stairs area and entrance framing were covered in a slate finish.
Bespoke merchandising displays include stone-effect panelling, angled slatted fascias, and box-system dividing frames. Lightbox frames were also placed in the merchandising areas.

We recently worked with Quills Irish Jewellery to open an Irish Jewellery store in downtown Killarney. The space features built-in wall showcases in Walnut finish with brushed gold trimmings, along with wall and centre floor cases using low iron glass.

Waterford Crystal was first established in 1783 in the town of Waterford, just minutes from the present-day House of Waterford Crystal.
Its founders were brothers George and William Penrose, and their vision was to “create the finest quality crystal for drinking vessels and objects of beauty for the home.”
Store Design has fitted out its retail area in Brown Thomas to reflect their luxury crystal and glassware products range.
Store Design was appointed to create displays and illuminated merchandising units to a design by London-based brand agency Office Twelve.
Wall units are finished in matt copper and tobacconist green with LED lighting to highlight the glassware. Centre floor units are in blue steel matt finish.
Joseph Ribkoff designs classic and contemporary garments with carefully tailored pieces that offer timeless elegance for fashion-forward women. This successful brand is celebrating over 65 years of fashion.
Rory McGurk of the McGurk Fashion Group is the exclusive Irish agent and has just opened a 2,000 sq ft outlet at the Kildare Village to showcase the brand.
The shop features Inset4 display system with copper surrounds, Box System centre floor units, and copper trimmed joinery.
Weavers of Ireland has opened a new outlet right opposite the Aran Sweater Market on Quay Street, Galway.
The store features solid oak frames over 3 meters high with oak peg fitting details and our Inset 8 shopfitting system with v-grooved panelling between.
The store is joined to Blakes Castle, a medieval tower house built circa 1470 on Quay Sreet.

Award-winning jewellery designers JUVI DESIGNS has opened a new retail display space in Arnotts department store. The space features jewellery display units from our OPTIX (https://www.storedesign.ie/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Optix-2021-Brochure-Landscape.pdf) range of showcases manufactured in our premises in Dublin.
The showcases are a combination of low iron glass giving maximum transparency, and etched glass components to backs, all Ultra Violet cured and bonded in-house

The long-established jewellery retailer Crystal Jewellers in Blanchardstown Centre has been revamped by Store Design.

3D Renders are an essential tool in the process of creating retail furniture displays and environments. The renders are key to promoting visual appeal and creating realistic views for analysis by designers to affirm their design intent. Retailers also can form a view on stock and presentation and merchandisers can make suggestions to engage the end user.
This analysis helps reduce costs, eliminate wastage and deliver a targeted retail presentation.
